We wanted to give clients the freedom to create reports for themselves, rather than rely on us.
We were also conscious that there are lots of poor BI tools out there, where you virtually need a degree in programming to make sense of them.
Report Builder is the result of many days (and a few late nights) of brainstorming how to build a tool that's truly powerful, whilst also as easy to use as the rest of CMAP.
Highlights include:
- Simple drag and drop functionality makes it quick and easy to pull reports together using any number of data categories.
- Preset filters and custom calculations give you the freedom to cut through your data the way you'd like.
- Data is live, ensuring your reports are always current and accurate.
- Choose from different layouts to view your reports in a way that makes sense to you, whether that's bar charts, pie charts, graphs, tables...
- Share reports with colleagues and publish them to your CMAP dashboard and BI Mobile app.
- Export your reports straight to Excel.

Mobile Reporting
CMAP BI Mobile is ideal for senior management, who often lack the ability to get their hands on reports as regularly as they would like.

- Reports aren't out-of-the-box and generic, they're built to your own specifications, giving you precisely the right amount of detail.

ODBC: Direct Reporting Service
The Direct Reporting Service (or DRS) is an ODBC service that gives you the freedom to pull your raw data out of CMAP.
Once in Excel, you're free to use the data however you like. You can even combine CMAP data with data from other sources such as your general ledger to create powerful, holistic reports.
How does it work? We'll try not to make this too techie:
DRS provides you with your own secure database blueprint, consisting of manageable table views (that we've already simplified to be user friendly) enabling you to see your entire database structure. Powerful stuff.
DRS also acts as a disaster recovery mechanism, as you can take back ups of your data as often as you like.

Integrate With 3rd Party BI Tools
CMAP's Direct Reporting Service gives you the option of pushing CMAP data into third-party BI reporting tools.
CMAP works hand-in-hand with leading BI tools such as:
