Business development tools to help you win more business

CRM for professional services

CRM for Professional Services

Professional services companies face the combined challenges of (a) needing to keep the pipeline fuelled with opportunities and (b) the people responsible for advancing the opportunities often being too busy delivering project work!

We recognize you don't employ career sales people or have massively complex reporting structures. That's why CMAP has none of the overbearing complications of standalone CRM's, just the features and functionality you need.

CMAP helps you to get opportunities into the funnel earlier (with innovative tools like CMAP For Outlook—more on that later) to feed revenue and resourcing reports as soon as possible and, ultimately, help you to win the right business more regularly.

It Starts With Contacts

CMAP gives you a centralized contacts database to store data on companies (e.g. billing addresses and payment terms) and contacts (e.g. job titles and email addresses).

One of the greatest challenges with contact database management is keeping data accurate and up-to-date. Our innovative grid views allow you to pull together the data you want to see (e.g. "show me all contacts added in the last 3 months with no email address") so you can take appropriate action (e.g. update their email addresses).

Over time, CMAP builds up a complex history of all the interactions you've had with these companies and individuals, such as the projects they've been involved with, notes on meetings, sales year-by-year, etc., meaning knowledge is retained within your company.

The Power of Grids

Grids allow you to customize your view of data: adding, removing and re-ordering the visible data fields to suit the task at hand.

When you're happy with your view, you can then apply filters and queries (e.g. searches against specific users, across ranges of time, etc.) to home-in on the data you're looking for.

Data can be updated directly in the grid (e.g. updating email addresses), so you don't need to wear out your index finger clicking in-and-out of records to make changes.

What's more, you can save the views you've built to re-use in the future, and even publish them so they're available to colleagues.

Leads & Opportunities

In order to give senior management and finance a clear vision of potential future revenue and resource demand, it's imperative that the data in your sales funnel is (a) accurate and up-to-date and (b) actually makes it into the system in the first place!

CMAP makes it simple to get leads and opportunities into the funnel with various intuitive input methods, including CMAP For Outlook—more on that shortly. So there should be no shocks or "surprise projects" you have to scramble to plan to deliver at the 11th hour.

Opportunities immediately start to be included in reports for holistic overviews, and come packed with useful features to make sure they're managed effectively e.g. visibility of whether opportunities have a sales follow-up action, so they're not left to go unexplored and slip through the cracks.

My Activities dashboard

Activities

Activities are a key component of every CRM, and CMAP is no exception.

They can be used to manage sales follow-up, to record key meeting notes, record copies of key emails from Outlook (e.g. a client confirming they're happy with your terms and wish to proceed), etc.

Users are prompted to take action via their dashboard, or on their smartphone using CMAP Go and in Outlook with CMAP For Outlook.

Activity templates can be applied and audited e.g. if you have the same series of steps you need to complete when you win particular types of projects.

As time goes by, you collect and store invaluable data to get passed on to future employees.

CMAP For Outlook

If there's one application you can guarantee people will log into every day, it's email.

CMAP For Outlook is the bridge that links the world your people live in and the world you run your company from.

Not only can you create new leads and opportunities directly within Outlook, you can view all the opportunities and projects you already have with that client within Outlook. You can save emails you've exchanged in Outlook against the appropriate project in CMAP. You can see the sales-follow up activities you're due to take action on, and commence the follow-up directly in Outlook. Plus a whole lot more!

The power can't be overstated.

More Insight. More Confident Decisions

Why does powerful CRM matter? Live project data is only part of the story. A full, holistic picture can only be painted when you include what's probable, too.

If the process is made difficult or the system is clunky and fails to convey the benefits of entering data directly into it, this reporting will always be inaccurate at best.

So, when it comes to important decisions (e.g. to hire or not to hire), accurate and relevant sales funnel data needs to be included in the process.
